1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility
By creating an account or using Gear6, you agree to these Terms of Use and End User License Agreement (EULA). In compliance with the Indian Contract Act, 1872, you must be at least 18 years of age, or possess legal parental/guardian consent, to use our services. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.
2. Safety & Responsibility
Gear6 does not replace emergency services, medical professionals, or road safety judgment. In an emergency, always contact local emergency services immediately.
You are solely responsible for your safety while riding. Ensure you obey local traffic laws, speed limits, and prioritize road safety over app usage.
3. Location Tracking & Features
By participating in live rides or using SOS features, you consent to sharing your real-time location with designated users. This data is critical for real-time tracking features and future enhancements like advanced route analytics.
4. User Generated Content (UGC) Policy & EULA
As part of this EULA and in accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, you agree not to host, display, upload, modify, publish, or share any information that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes upon another person's rights.
Zero Tolerance Policy: We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Objectionable content includes, but is not limited to, hate speech, violence, sexually explicit material, bullying, harassment, and illegal activities.
User Controls and Reporting: To ensure a safe community, Gear6 provides in-app mechanisms that allow users to:
- Flag and report objectionable content or abusive users directly from the feed.
- Block abusive users, which will immediately prevent them from interacting with you or seeing your content.
Developer Action: Our moderation team will review all flagged content and reports within 24 hours. If we determine that a user has violated our zero-tolerance policy, we will immediately remove the offending content and eject (ban or suspend) the abusive user from the platform.
You retain ownership of the content you post on Gear6, but you grant us a license to display, use, and modify this content to operate and improve the service.
5. Service Changes & Future Updates
We are continuously evolving Gear6 to provide a better user experience. Features may change, and new capabilities (like Google Maps integration, push notifications, and advanced media uploads) will be introduced over time. Service availability can vary and is not guaranteed.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in India.
