At Gear6, we respect your privacy and give you full control over your data. If you no longer wish to use Gear6, you can request to have your account and all associated data permanently deleted.
How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account using one of the following methods:
Method 1: Directly inside the Gear6 App (Recommended)
The fastest way to delete your account is directly through the mobile app:
- Open the Gear6 app and log in to your account.
- Navigate to your Profile.
- Tap on the Settings icon.
- Scroll to the bottom and select Delete Account.
- Follow the prompts to confirm your choice. Your account and data will be permanently deleted.
Method 2: Email Request
If you no longer have access to the app or prefer to request deletion via email, you can contact our support team.
Please send an email to support@gear6.app with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Ensure you send the email from the address associated with your Gear6 account so we can verify your identity.
What Happens When Your Account is Deleted?
- Personal Information: Your profile details, email, and phone number will be permanently removed.
- Ride Data: All your ride history, live tracking logs, and location data will be deleted.
- User Content: Your posts, comments, likes, and garage data will be permanently erased.
- Emergency Information: Any SOS contacts and emergency details you have saved will be removed.
Please note that account deletion is irreversible. Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. For more information on how we handle your data, please read our Privacy Policy.
